Stunning Southwest/Modern Home on 30
acres of unbelievably beautiful land with 1/2 mile of Percha Creek running
through the middle with big trees and historic ruins.
The main one acre enclosed compound
includes the main house, a separated guest apartment and a detached guest
house. Every inch of this estate property is in absolute pristine
condition.
The land has lots of white wing dove,
quail, and both white tail and mule deer. Occasionally you can see Bear, Elk,
Javelin, Fox, and Coyote. Deer are fed and seen every day.
Hillsboro has a present day population of
less than 200 people with some retired people and some working cowboys. The Art
Community includes many painters, two famous photographers, several authors, an
international sports writer, a potter, a clockmaker, and a weaver. The Cowboys
and Artist mingle freely around this historic village.

This property could be used as a small
Bed & Breakfast "as is" with plenty of room for expansion. The property is
on the paved main street (State Hwy 152) and would be a perfect location for a
gallery, gift shop or other commercial uses.
There are two excellent
restaurants, a post office, 1 small motel and 2 bed and breakfast as well as
many shops and galleries. There is a library, an active community center
with many concerts and Hillsboro host several Festivals each
year.
Hillsboro (map) is an unincorporated village located in the high
desert region of historic Southern New Mexico only about 10 miles from the huge
Gila Wilderness National Park
(which is Heavy Timber). Many large
cattle ranches keep the western culture alive where the cowboys mingle freely
among the Village's artist. Near by Caballo and Elephant Butte Lake provide abundant year round fishing.
